UFA
Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of UFA — Ultimate Finance Assistant (“UFA”, “the app”), published by Abir Barman (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using UFA you agree to them.
The app and your licence
UFA is proprietary software. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use UFA on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. If you obtained UFA from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where it conflicts with these terms, it governs.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use UFA for any unlawful purpose, or to record information you have no right to hold;
- copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of UFA;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of UFA, except where the law allows it;
- interfere with or circumvent the app’s security features.
Your financial information
You are responsible for the information you enter in UFA and for checking that it is accurate. UFA can read details from payment screenshots to help you, but recognised text can be incomplete or wrong — always review a transaction before you save it. Payment Proof is a screenshot you chose to keep; UFA does not verify that it is genuine, and it is not a receipt issued by UFA. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
No financial advice
UFA is a tool for recording and organising your own financial information. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, and nothing in the app should be treated as such. Totals, balances and upcoming-payment lists are based only on what you have recorded. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
Service availability
We work to keep UFA reliable, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every feature will remain available. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Keep your own backups of information that matters to you.
iCloud dependency
iCloud Sync and cross-device backup encryption depend on Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services, your Apple Account and available iCloud storage. These services are provided by Apple under Apple’s terms. We are not responsible for their availability, and sync may be delayed or unavailable when they are.
Intellectual property
UFA, including its software, design, text and graphics, is owned by Abir Barman and protected by intellectual-property laws. © 2026 UFA. All rights reserved. Third-party components included in UFA remain subject to their own licences. Apple, iPhone, iCloud and Face ID are trademarks of Apple Inc.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, UFA is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or savings, arising from your use of UFA. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Termination
You can stop using UFA at any time by deleting it. Your licence ends automatically if you breach these terms. Data stored on your devices or in your iCloud account remains under your control; deleting the app removes the data UFA stores on that device.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above. Continued use of UFA after a change means you accept the updated terms.
