UFA — Ultimate Finance Assistant is proprietary software developed by Abir Barman. It is not open source, and it is not released under the MIT, Apache, GPL, BSD or any other open-source licence, or into the public domain.

Unless explicitly authorised in writing by the copyright holder, no permission is granted to copy, reproduce, redistribute, modify, publish, sublicense, sell, rent, lease or commercially exploit UFA or its proprietary materials.

This license should be read together with UFA's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and any other agreement that applies to how you obtained UFA, such as Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement for apps from the App Store.

1. Ownership

The following are the proprietary intellectual property of Abir Barman, where applicable, unless explicitly stated otherwise:

• the UFA application and its source code;
• its software architecture and user-interface implementation;
• its visual design and product design;
• its branding, logos and the icons created for UFA;
• its marketing materials and documentation;
• its proprietary algorithms and workflows;
• other original assets created for UFA.

2. Restrictions

Without prior written authorisation from Abir Barman, you may not:

• redistribute, resell or sublicense UFA;
• reproduce UFA's proprietary source code, or copy its proprietary user-interface implementation;
• commercially reuse UFA's assets;
• repackage UFA as another product;
• create a competing derivative product using proprietary UFA materials;
• distribute modified versions of UFA;
• remove or alter copyright or proprietary notices.

Nothing in this license is intended to restrict rights that cannot lawfully be restricted under applicable law, including any right to reverse engineer or decompile software that the law expressly permits.

3. Personal use

You may install and use the publicly distributed UFA app on Apple devices you own or control, for its intended personal purpose, under the Terms of Service and the terms of the store you obtained it from. Installing and using UFA gives you those usage rights only; it does not transfer ownership of the software or of any intellectual property to you.

4. Source code

UFA's proprietary source code is not licensed for public redistribution, modification or reuse unless explicitly authorised by Abir Barman. Using the app does not grant access to, or any rights in, its source code.

5. Branding and trademarks

The names UFA and Ultimate Finance Assistant, the UFA logos and other UFA product branding may be protected intellectual property of Abir Barman and may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without permission.

UFA is an independent app built for Apple platforms. It is not made, sponsored or endorsed by Apple. Apple, iPhone, iCloud and Face ID are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.

6. Third-party software

UFA may incorporate third-party libraries, frameworks, SDKs, services or other software components. Such components remain subject to their respective licences and terms. Nothing on this page overrides or replaces the licences that apply to third-party software, and Abir Barman does not claim ownership of it.

The UFA iOS app is built with Apple's SDKs and frameworks, which Apple licenses under its own terms. It does not currently include third-party open-source packages.

7. Open-source components

Certain third-party components used by UFA, including the components this website is built with, may be distributed under open-source licences. Their copyright notices and licence terms remain applicable to those components. If open-source components are added to the UFA app, their notices will be provided with it.

8. No transfer of ownership

Using UFA does not transfer to you any copyright, ownership, source-code rights, trademark rights, design rights or other intellectual-property rights in UFA. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

10. Changes

This license may be updated when the product, legal structure or licensing terms change. The version published at ufa.abirbarman.com/license is the current public license notice.
